What is it with this heart of mine, this heart that has been hurt and disappointed so much, this heart that longs to be loved in a way like never before. I peculiar knowing and confidence still lingers despite the broken promises and the heartache, that somewhere amidst all the pain, there will come that soul who is hear to stay, that companion who will offer unconditional love, that partner who was made just for me.
In the meantime, I move forward loving me, respecting me, and honoring me, because the most important love, is the love that I have for me, and honestly, this self-love is growing quickly, more strongly and more truly than ever before.
